Condemned

Today i went to Fortune Seafood Restaurant for dinner. Nah Beh.. One fine fking piece of shit!

My sis said it was recommended in Makan Sutra so we went to try out the food. WTH.. Service is super fk-ed up! Here's my menu:

1) Assam Fish Head
2) Vegetables
3) 一品锅
4) 鹿肉

The ordering was quite fast so till then, we were quite happy.. Then we wait.. and wait.. and wait.. for our god damn food. We saw another family come in, settled down, ordered their food and damn... their food came!! Their assam fish head, and a hell lot of other dishes came. WTF is wrong manz!! Then my bro said he overheard the waitress saying to the waiter that they are regulars. Of course regulars deserve better treatment but not to this extent that they are compromising the new customers, TOTALLY! And btw, the air-conditioned area was almost empty when we went in. the outdoors ones were 3/4 full. Not that much tables but if they are bloody understaffed, they should have employed more chefs right?!?! like HEEELLOOOO??

It took bloody 45 mins for our "一品锅" to appear, WITHOUT rice.. Damn smart.. we bear with it..

Then 5 more mins, the "鹿肉" and rice appeared. Like finally.. The other dishes still have not appeared after we wiped out our rice and the two dishes. fk..

My bro suggested we pay the bill and walk out but we hung on cos' the assam fish head is supposedly specialty.

Another bloody 15 mins passed and we DEMANDED our other dishes. We had to order another round of rice because there's NOTHING left to complement the assam sauce.

10 miserable mins passed, the vegetables came. One pathetic plate of vegetables with oyster sauce. How hard is it to cook!??! Don't tell me the veggies needed time to grow!

We complaint again, 5 mins passed and the fking fish head appeared. God damn it.. About time.. and my review, NOTHING SPECTACULAR. i could have gone to some other kopitiam and get similar food quality and much better service.

THE LONG WAIT CREATED THAT INTENSE HUNGER IN ME. I DOWNED TWO BOWLS OF RICE IN THE DESPERATE ATTEMPT TO SATISFY MY HUNGER.

Logically food would have tasted nicer if you waited long for it but unfortunately, i conclude that it is just some fking common food you can get elsewhere but yet, overrated by makansutra.

p.s. critics are not always correct. try having such a painful meal with a photo of the makansutra host and the boss, hung on the wall, staring right at your face. this totally destroyed my faith in that host manz..

I dont understand why there are alot of people outside when we left. (although those at the tables do not look very pleased either) i'm pretty sure that this would be the last visit for most of them too.. at least for me, and another table next to me. The customers just stormed out without even tasting the food. They waited a damn long time too manzz..

Btw.. it took us 10 mins to pay the bill cos the fking cashier was taking orders and even run back to the customers to confirm the orders. like hellloo??
